Today i had promised my lad, Jack a fishing trip, we decided on the rocks near throbby point at heysham, Thought it might have been good after yesterdays winds, Got there early

and had a ratch around for a few crabs, Not many there, only got a few but we had got some from Rushy earlier on.

We wanted to get fishing asap but the beach was full of dog walkers and old people lol so we couldnt walk our baits out to the waters edge, they just seemed to stop in front of us and chuck balls into the sea

The fishing was slow to say the least but Jack kept his self busy catching shrimps by hand,(hes fast )

Jacks rod got a knock, he left it to make sure what was having a nibble took the hook, The bite resulted in this  :'(

A nice little Plaice

As usual he was goading me because i was blanking but he was soon kicking him self as i pulled in this nice plaice of my own

Over high water things went high water things really dropped off so we had a go with the plugging rod over the rocks and sea weed in hope of a bass, But there was nowt doing,
We ended up with just the 1 plaice each but spent a great day together and had a laugh, Thanks Jack, Till next time mate
