The NW Donkers charity Xmas meet this year was at Silecroft beach in Cumbria, 35 members attended with a few Angling Addicts lucky enough to attend.

The meet was in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association, and an incredible £600 was raised on the day

The fishing was slow for most, with the bright sunshine not helping the fishing but the weather couldn’t have any better for a charity meet.
The food was unbelievable, with a stupendous chicken curry, sausage and black pudding, jacket spuds, Beef Goulash, corned beef hash, chilli, and mince pies and mulled wine.
The raffle prizes were outstanding, the organisation top notch and the obvious warmth and friendship shown by everyone evident to see
