Fly fishing at sea is a pursuit growing in popularity at venues where some of the more sought after species can either be taken in shallow water, or teased up to the surface offshore. Unfortunately, most fish in the UK prefer life at the bottom. One exception here is the pollack. This film shows a group of Scottish salmon anglers who set out to and succeed in catching pollack on the fly above the current IGFA world records. However, no claims are made as all the fish taken, of which there were many, were returned.
