Scrabster on the Pentland Firth is mainland Britain’s most northerly port. Britain’s most northerly point Dunnet Head marks the eastern boundary to the bay that the town sits in. The tide can be fierce in these parts, and conditions can get wild to say the least when the wind gets up. But the fishing is not that difficult close inshore, which incidentally is where the majority of the pollack, ling and cod are found. This film records a typical day with skipper Davy Benson aboard the boat Karen.
