One of the most exciting methods of carp fishing is by catching them on surface baits. The Totally Awesome Fishing Show film editor Mike Pullen gives some good tips for preparing and fishing with the cheapest floating baits – Dog biscuits and bread crust! Short evening sessions can often give you the best results of the day, and you don’t need loads of heavy gear, a rod, net, rucksack, unhooking mat and bag of floating baits. The Totally Awesome Crew pull it off again, this time at Bowsaw Lakes in Hampshire, and Mike had never even fished there before. So pack your bed chairs and buzzers away and try a Totally Awesome evening session at your favourite lake.
