A year ago Des Shipp was facing the daily grind that most of us have, sitting on his forklift truck and putting in a shift to put bread on the table while preparing for another weekend of fishing at the very highest level.

However, unlike many in the upper echelons of the sport, Des decided to take to plunge and go full-time in the summer and it proved to be one of the best decisions of his life, taking his fishing to an even higher level and making him even more-feared on the bank.
