The Amazon is one of those places people dream of fishing. Virgin waters deep inside remote jungle. Of course the reality is very much different when you get there. Rain, rising water levels, too much colour, the heat, and of course all the other nasties that live there must also play their part. But a very enjoyable trip none the less, whose primary objective, the catching of a payara was achieved.
