Tricky to catch, the Mullet is an ideal species for fishermen to target if they are on holiday, one of the better light tackle fighting fish in skinny water they grow to double figures, with a national average probably running around 3lbs. Just make sure your reel drag is set to give line, as the grey mullet is one of the fastest fish you will find in shallow water and they can even be taken on a fly rod.
