Fly fishing for Trout opens up the huge selection of artificial flies that can be used to catch them, but undoubtedly the most famous of them all is the Mayfly. An insect that only shows itself during the end of May into early June. But they are so large and hatch in such numbers that the Trout can feed on them to such an extent that they drop their guard. This gives even the novice angler the chance of a Trout catch using either the Mayfly nymph, or Mayfly dry fly. Graeme Pullen takes the Totally Awesome Fishing cameras for an evening session in an effort to capture the magic of this event, using floating line he gives you enough tips to give you a shot…and this episode he filmed entirely on his own – quite a remarkable feat. So if you want to know How to catch Trout using the Mayfly, learning a few of Graeme’s Totally Awesome tips on where to spot them, and techniques could see you with your best chance yet.
