An amazing summer river wier pool pike session. Using live baits from the kayak. I caught over 14 pike in a matter of hours. The video shows you tactics and tackle needed to catch pike on live baits. All pike were safely released. I use wire traces and barbless hooks and release nearly all of pike at the side of the kayak without taking them out of the water – this causes the pike less stress than netting or using an unhooking mat. Please strike as soon as possible to avoid the pike being deeply hooked.
