Lure fishing for Pollack is a Totally Awesome Fishing Show production packed with beginners tips for lure fishing. Graeme & Mike Pullen travel to Courtmacsherry in Southern Ireland to try their fishing skills in a 16 -foot open boat. They head out to the open Atlantic armed only with a box of lures and some ultra-light spinning rods. Target species is the hard fighting Pollack, and their different lures and techniques create mayhem in the fish population as they catch fish after fish. This light tackle fishing appeals to many anglers as you don’t need a lot of expensive tackle. Often you can make use of whatever you have. The area is a fisherman’s paradise, where you can nearly always get to find somewhere to fish. Mark Gannon’s self-drive hire boats are ideal for this type of fishing and you get to become "Captain for the day". Courtmacsherry is about an hours drive from the ferry port of Rosslare and the Stena Lines ferry crossing can get you into fishguard in wales in around 3 hours. It’s a trip worth taking! – AWESOME!
