After watching the weather all week today looked the best day to go out i got to 5 bar gate at half six the skies were clear and sun was just rising temp in the car said -1 but didn't feel that cold i kitted up and got in the water at about ten to seven hw was about 8 oclock had a leisurely paddle out baited up with black luck tipped with squid kept getting the odd rattle but nothing to show for it until about half nine when i pulled up first dab of the day released to fight another day

then it went quiet again tried a bit of squid on its own and got this :banghead:

Won't be long before the smoothhound are in Chris :fish: they put up an unbelievable fight on the kayak, even more so when you get them aboard! :box:

Good report and thanks for sharing
