6 weeks on anglesey
Just returned from 6 weeks on Anglesey.stayed at porth dafarch with the beach launch 3mins away , Fishing was slow this year with the macs having come in early and gone. Nothing really to show in the first two weeks only pollock and big sand eels, Macs came back in and fishing changed straight away caught the biggest wrasse i've ever had at jus,at under 3lb. Met up with a local lad Arron and he took me out on the inland sea i blanked but he had 5 gar fish and we just could not connect to the jumping bass. Back at porth d met up with dalesman and had some good sessions with macs gurnard and pollock so it was'nt as good as the past few years but i made up for it by putting lobster pots down had a total of 15 lobsters 5 were takeable size the rest under or egg bareing female, and 2 eddieble crabs.

6 weeks on angiesey
Don't don't by chance shop at ozzy angling do you.
They were talking about an anglesey expert.
Off there tomorrow for an overnight stay but four planned fishing sessions.
Two breakwater sessions and some wrasse, bass fishing early and late around treaaddur. Do you reckon porth d is better?
Cheers for any help though you're catch report gives me a start. Sound like its worth having a throw for the mackerel from the breakwater to see if they are about. I'm going to try the end instead of the elbow this time as well.
I gotta catch me a wrasse this time!
