90s Gynn..<º))))><
I had a rummage through my old fishing tackle the other day, and came across my Zziplex Federation. If my calculations are right, the Fed is 34 years old
Then a couple of Multi's were next. So made my mind up to pair the Zzippy with Daiwa 7HT Mag and give it a go next time i'm fishing.
The day had come and met up with Paul, Keith and Kathy. Barry and Baz passed us, trying a bit further along the wall..

I cracked out the 2 hook flappers, Baited with Black, Ragworm and Peeler crab. The old rod was first in the queue after lobbing a lead a couple of times..

Baited and sent seaward. I waited just 15 minutes, the Zzippy had secured my first fish..

The Conti's were employed, baited and cast, the weed started to be a nuisance. Species number 2 came in with a bundle..

A Tope made it number 3..

My first Plaice of the year, came in at 4..

By high tide, the specie number was climbing No5, though not quantity. My best fish of the day, 4+ LBS Common Smoothound took a fancy to some Peeler..

The ebb as per norm was a drawn out affair. Another Tope appeared..

The tide ebbed away and so did the fish, though someone still had the touch..

Deciding to pack the rods away, with the sand starting to uncover. The Federation had the last laugh, with No6, Flounder.

That was it! Bar a few Sole bites that never connected. It was nice to get the old gear out again and catch fish too. The company was great as ever.. Cheers Gang
Apologies for the different size pictures, my camera and the Gopro played up today loosing half their files. I'm mystified why ? Glad the mobile phone has a camera.
