Abbotsbury Dorset,"Chesil Lock in"
After hearing of a few Flatties showing at Abbotsbury I decided on a session for them in daylight and maybe a few coddis ...especially after dark.....
well this greedy Puppy and its Ting snack were the species to grace the shingle....basically nuffin else got a look in.
Oh this is the Rod bag I was referring to me mate clive its padded to the gills takes 4 rods comfortably plus the rod stand and tent....it has a 3 strap wrap around clasp that can be attached where you want to the rodbag so it can be balanced on your shoulders where you want.
of course weight is added due to the padding but its there for a reason plus its 3 seasons old now and the zips are still going strong and its rain worthiness is fine...up til now.
These were 15 foot 2 piece Century BB rods inside

contact Dene and I'm sure he can source one for you if you've got the £90 asking price.
anyway daylight came and went so that was the flatties idea trashed.....again didn't get a look in on any Coddies
did have a few decent Whiting this being 1lb 4oz and me best so far of the autumn.
well id had enough as the tide was ebbing and it was piissing down.....on arrival to collect the motor
found the field id parked in locked up,the guy in the hut has said it was never locked....so here I was 11pm
along with some girl fisherwoman also locked it.....DOH....rand the contact number but no reply so decided
that was it.....get comfy zzzzzzzzzz.......all of a sudden the girl is naggin in the "caught much"?
naaaaaaaaaa Shiite says I just a few dogs and Ting.... ...well the next 2 hours were something out of a verbal horror movie with her droning on about
where we come from we we go when we die, some spirit cobblers that had me reaching for a noose....ye gods she could feckin
drone on and on about Shiite I've never wanted to know....I think me disappearing out of view putting my seat down and closing the window gave her all she needed to see as she "thank feck" shut up......anyway....who should turn up was the guy with the gate key
hed locked it as there were some fellers with greyhounds lamping so he fecked em off and locked the field gate....yer feckin great...let me out ...
so its now 02.45am and I've still got an hours drive.....one to forget...oh and if you see a single woman about 35 with tackle ...and she looks your way and says..."caught anything"....just feckin leg it !!!!!!
and NO this wasn't a Doggin session.....just my bad luck to bump into one that likes to"yak"
to be honest the Chesil beach Cod open is next sunday so this was daylight practice ...waste of
bloody time..looks to me like the 150 or so entrants will be "Tinged out"!!!!!!!
