Went back to anchorsholme today the plan was up at half 4 in the water by 6 :banghead: didn't quite go to plan lol forgot to set the alarm so manage to get set up and in the water for 7 paddled out trolling the feathers got set to drop the anchor looked at the rod and it was dancing away pulled in four mackerel good start :D so I set up one bait rod with kug and mackeral one with feathers few tope but like carpman nothing on the worm and a few mackerel on the feather went quiet so decided to paddle to a new spot I seen on the fishfinder yesterday that has drop of about 4ft quite quickly so set up again had a quick bite to eat and noticed the bait rod bobbing up an down so lifted it up to find a nice fat plaice had took the worm and been hooked I recommend these circle hooks flatties hardly ever swollow them as I was dragging the yak back up I noticed another kayak getting dragged down to the water hope he had as good a day as I did :cheer:

Another productive day by the sounds of it, well done. I'm going to make a comcerted effort not to take crab next time I go out as there are plenty of species out there but, I'm a bit hung up on Smoothound at the moment! lol
Think the lad you saw launching was my mate Al. He had a few hounds, tope and a foul hooked mackerel

I went out around half six but, only lasted an hour and a half as the wind picked right up and made it a bit uncomfortable!
