Anglesey

Postby Spook » 13 Apr 2015, 06:05

Just got back from a trip to the Island, been there since Thursday. Fished a day on plugs and soft plastics all over the island and blanked. Then i fished for a day or so on baits at a few marks, fresh blow and crab, zilch, nothing, nada. Also had a shot at crabbing a few marks with no joy. So if you are planning a trip for the silvers and crabs i would hold off a few weeks. To top off my blanks, i also dropped my Sunset rod and broke the tip ring and 4th eye ...arrrrg

I'm more impressed you stuck it out. We were recording 85mph gusts while on the boat in Conwy Saturday evening through Sunday morning. Nothing for it but to stay in the cabin and sleep it out. Better luck next time.

BTW the crabs are in. Kids must have lifted 50 on crabnets in 20 minutes. No peelers just yet though, but it can't be too long now.
