Re: Angling Addicts Winter Open
Will there be any fresh bait (black lug) available on the night? I work 12 hr shifts and gerry's is closed when I finish. Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

Got an eRly start myself on the Saturday but hope to make it. Has consideration been given to the venue?
I am pretty sure that there is fencing up from the point but I ain't sure how much further it will be going along because of the new sea defences being put in.

no problem with venue, we are meeting at sea cadets car park, if you want to fish the point you can walk from where we meet.

Re: Angling Addicts Winter Open
Its said that 'man plans, God laughs', well having got over a chest infection (using antibiotics) 3 weeks ago, I started this week to get pains in my chest and back which got worse as the week progressed. Trip to the docs Tuesday and told to go for immediate xrays. Outcome is that on Wednesday, the docs rang me and told me I had pneumonia! Now on more antibiotics (strong ones). So all in all, its going to be doubtful if I make the winter open. Good luck to all that manage to wet lines on the night.
