back to cleveleys early doors launch into a flat sea bit of a change from yesterday paddled out to meet peter and graham who were already out anchored up and after 5mins i was into my first plaice of the day hadnt even got my camera out the dry box so released him back in whilst sorting th other rod out i glanced at the other and saw the tip dipping into the water eventually hauled it back in to find a very nice 3 and half foot smooth hound on it my first ever
after that it was steady with a mix of small dabs and whiting until after hw at 1030 had a good bite and pulled up a 32cm codling
then it changed to dabs and doggies and plaice
and another
and another

Well done Chris, that's a nice smoothie and a cracker for your first they put a great scrap up don't they, even as good when they're in the yak!!

Yes mate it fought a little lol thought it was going to drag me to Blackpool but nice to see the rod tip touching the water lol 'twas a tad warm in the dry suit paddling but the drysuit tan is coming on lol face hands and neck it got a little choppy at one point but calmed right down fantastic day though
