This is live from the slipway at knot end, me and tel ready to launch.
The only down side so far is Tel's forgotten his life jacket and his bait!!! Ha ha he,s got to watch me fish all day.

13.06 on the maritime clock, I'm a little queazy but still manage to make the sausage sarnies. Tel had them both!Image

So far today we've had 4 doggies it's a bit rough but a beaut day.
More from your roving anglers later.
14.12 on the maritime clock, I know it's now 14.40 but we started catching.
So up to now we've had countless dogs, a flatty a crab and a cod all returned safely.

Terry so fed up he's started knitting!

More later got another bite.
15.36 on the maritime clock and alls quiet.

Image

Me and Padsta just kicking back and waiting for the whiting.
About an hour to go and only 2 codling caught. Didn't need Tels bait after all.
Padsta says hello.

Fishing trip over, all in all we caught a lot of dogs, 1 or 2 flatties and 3 codling.
Bait used black lug, skellys, squid and mussel.

On the downside.
Tel forgot the good bait
Tel lost his glasses.
We knocked the transducer off.
I was a bit queazy
Tel reminisced about "the warrior"

On the upside
Met Paul, Dave, graham, Tarmac duck and one or two others always great to put faces to names cheers guys.
Great day
Never done knot end before.
managed sausage sarnies even tho death seemed close.

its been fishing ok for plaice but only on the smaller tides. The big tides seem to bring dogs, weevers, more dogs and the occasional flattie. We'll have a go later in the week on the neaps if the wind gods give us a gap in the forecast dismal weather but it may be that the onset of autumn weather will see them migrate .
