Bunessan Isle of Mull
Plenty of mackeral off the pier tonight. Thought we were doing well until one of local commercial crab/ lobster boat skippers came in on an orkney strikeliner the floor was covered in fish. He filled four baskets with large macks all caught on his own by conventional rod an line.

can't beat fresh mackies fella,I luvved our 3 days on mull....the seafood restaurant at the end of the harbour in Tobermory was the highlight...talk about a plate full of sea food .

Can`t beat a bit of maccy bashing and fresh out of the water a fantastic taste however you cook it
be it a barbi , foil wrapped under grill with just butter and lemon or thai style or simply over
a beach fire , had macci from Stranraer to Kinlochbervie and right round to Helmsdale and still love fishing for them . Not got up the road this year and i aint half missing it , gonna be next year now i think .
