We went out for the day with the wife and kids to south shields

So I went up to cambois for a test fish

170 miles there from blackpool will it be worth it

I met up with one one just before I set off

thank you for you advice on where to fish

The wind was blowing from the west a bit strong at times
my drouge worked very well stoped me drifting out to sea fast
drifting went a cross with the flow

I got about 7 drifts in total fish on all of them



Fished a shads with daylights

first two drifts only small codling so i tried tipping off
with my secret bait (frozed black)



I started to get a lot bigger cod the best been 8lb with a few at 5lb
only fiseh 3 hours not bad for a test fish.
