I reviewed this product around 4-5yr ago. I used it on my 13ft Heavy Ulua GT Rods by Okuma w/large Solterra Conventionals. Boy those triggers really made gripping that monster reel & thick heavy rod so much easier. As you know MH will give some flex under load but not H rated GT rod. But using these casting devices has greatly helped in achieving distances that i could never reach before. And it looks like such a simple device as well. But it does work!
