cleveleys/five bar gate
Got up this morning to find bright sunshine coming through the windows so quick check of the weather and i was going stopped of at the bait shop got a few lug and launched from cleveleys/five bar gate gentle breeze and calm sea so i paddled out till i was in 18ft of water fished for an hour and not even a bite so i decided to go a bit further out until i was in 27ft of water cast in and within fifteen mins the rod was twitching up came a dab
had plenty of bites and one really good bite the rod went right down so i grabbed the rod took it out of the holder and lifted it catching the holder and you guessed it in it went so now down one holder so i carried on winding up thinking oh well at least i got a decent fish as the leader just started to show the line went slack i couldn't believe it lol so cast back in and had a another couple of dabs so a good and bad day lol really
the rods on two rest before i lost one lol
fishfinder working nicely
the big game now taped up

cleveleys/five bar gate
I was thinking what a great report..!! Then realised I missed the word "launched" on the early part of the text and was amazed at how tall you must be to paddle in 18' of water ..!!! Doh..!! But it is a great report mate, nice to be able to set sail in this awful spell of weather, and a fish to boot..!! Hard luck on the missed fish too..!! Keep the reports coming.!! Well done skipper..!!
There's more to fishing than catching fish...
