Cleveleys Sunday 17th

Postby Curly » 17 Apr 2011, 19:46

Dragged my arse out of bed at 5.30 this morning and I hadn`t even wet the bed :D
After brekkie and loading the yak onto the van I headed for the 5 Bar Gate.
Got there and could just about see Grahamw about 1 mile out from Rossal School.
Paddled out and he`d already had a couple of Codling, Dabs and Doggies!
I was soon into the Doggies and Codling and after about half an hour Trotter joined us.
Bite dried up very suddenly and we put it down to that dam floating platform that is laying cables! We then moved a few hundred yards closer in.
More Doggies,Dabs and Codling for all. I managed a small Thornie then added a small Huss. Trooter then brought a small Tope up :thumb: Not to be outdone I went on to get my first Smut of the year :champ:
Hopefully Graham and Tony will add some pictures as I forgot my camera
