Cheers Tim :thumb: Interested in a yak myself.....have been for a while......more gear......hmnnnn!

Summer days in Shetland can feel like winter here. All seasons in one day are possible as are 23 hours of daylight and the aurora. Winter can be positively arctic. I'd have serious reservations about trailing a small boat all the way up there, partcularly when there's a well known charter operation. Yaks I can understand. I've taken my float tube for flyfishing the lochs and when conditions allowed some of the more sheltered voes. The open sea up there is a whole different story.
