Me and jimmy thought we give NORTH WALES a go for a change , so we decided on Colwyn bay, We headed of at 8 am and arrived just after 9.15 am .We were going to fish a hour down to low then up to high ,When we arrived in Colwyn bay we headed down to the low water mark next to the pier.i took my pump with me so we could fish with fresh worm . i managed to get about 70 worms, some nice fat blow lug and some black lug . We fished for 2 hours with out any bites . We decided to pack up and head to llandudno and try the north shore . When we arrived there where about 20 anglers already fishing along the length of the beach . We set up with 2 rods i used a running pennel with a size 4/0 hook with fresh lug wrapped with squid and jimmy used a 2 hook flapper with size 2/0 hooks with lug and squid, we had plenty of bites but know fish, then i got a good bite it was a doggy . by the end of the day i ended up with 4 doggies and jimmy had one . the doggies are a pest at times but they did saved us from a blanking  ImageImageImage
