Cymyran Bay 1/10/11
Picked Clive n Taro up and got to the bay for 5.45pm...walked out to the low water line where we saw the "Macc Lads" already fishing....John and Ed had made a day of it,though the fish had`nt played ball....

Conditions did`nt look good with not a breath of wind out,but the cover of darkness was gunna be on our side...

![Image](http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i289/ird1/003-9.jpg)
We were joined by Geordie Paul,Dave and Nathen who had come in search of a first ever ray....
![Image](http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i289/ird1/006-8.jpg)
It was quiet early on until the flood started then Nathen had a nice plaice...
![Image](http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i289/ird1/007-7.jpg)
I was getting dogs dogs and dogs, which was annoying....mid tide became unfishable for a while as the weed was very bad....Joe Roberts arrived with a crew from Sunderland to be met by the weed...it cleared after an hour and they fished further left of us and though no rays showed they had whiting, dogs and plenty of small turbot taken very close in.
Back at our pegs and Paul`s line had been dragged to the right...we thought it might be weed but he was over the moon to find the culprit was a lovely small eyed ray weighing in at 8-10-0...not bad for your first...
![Image](http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i289/ird1/008-7.jpg)
I snared a pin whiting and Clive had a small turbo to round the night off...

Not the best of returns but the sea was far toooo calm for my liking....good to meet some new faces and made up for Paul with his first ray

Make a difference - take home one piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing

Good report and pics. Fished here once about two years ago had a nice Raymond. Nice venue. I like the look of the gully by the white house plugging might be worth another go here. ![thumbs up :thumb:](http://anglingaddicts.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
