Dumped!!!
Dumped?
What do you do when your fishing chum dumps you?
You smile and you thank him because he partnered you up with the lovely Ruth.
We met at 8.45ish had a bit of craic with Tel then got muddy together on our way out to the boat.
It wasn't long before we were afloat and rods in. There was a chilly easterly blowing putting a bit of a chop on the water.
It was slow from the off, By the time Padsta and Jack arrived we'd only had the one small flounder.
Tel anchored to our left but immediately drifted past us and carried on down towards happy mount park!!
We couldn't help but giggle as the mighty cobble chugged past, so low in the water where "Pugwash" was sitting his pants must have been wet!
While Tel sailed about searching for a fish to save his blank, we got got the frying pan on for bacon and egg butty's.
Refreshed we set about the task of catching fish, I was first with a small flounder, then Ruth a better one.
There were big gaps between fish but we managed 3 each by the finish.
We had a very enjoyable sesh, Ruth is brilliant company.
No pics of the fish I'm afraid but here are a few of tel searching for fish and getting his bottom wet.
Big thanks to Ruth for sharing her boat with me.
Oh yeah, Ruth's a little like Tel in that she insisted I go on the "crappy" side of the boat!
Ha ha

Just needs a couple of bags of cement in the front you know the pointy bit will work as a counter balance when Tels sat at the blunt end
