Early Flounder Poole Harbour
A nice start to the evening was a beautiful sunset over Poole Harbour
Had a lazy git moment just now and it was bloody lovely to fish from your boot, christened the 2 new Tronixpro GT lights tonight, cast lovely and paired them with shimano ultegra c14 5500,s....and 20lb powerpro braid...proper flew albeit one 2 hook rig was flicked out and the other hit as hard as........no mercy from the off with basslets savaging the baits and serious crab attention that I'm hoping a few frosts will sort out...the tips were active just not with flounders.
had 1 decent pull down so left it alone and this 1lb 13oz Flounder was my reward,8 other anglers were along by evening hill each having just the 1 fish also plus plenty of tiddler bass.
anyway 3 hours out better than 3 hours indoors.

Good report, I remember that my half deaf granddad was really peed off in the war when he heard the news that the Japanese had bombed Pool Harbour.

Love the pic of the 4x4 with the boot up and the rods within arms reach.....ideal fishing for us members of the “zimmer brigade” as we were referred to a while back.(they’ll be old one day...)Easy fishing mate and a quality flounder to boot. Sounds like an ideal set up too. Cheers.
