fishing the Mersey today
we locked out at about 6-45 this morning 5 on board, the river was flat calm almost with a slight south east blowing but the mist and fog stayed most of the day and when the mist came the temperature dropped and it was bloody cold, we dropped anchor at our chosen mark and started to fish, the fishing was slow the fish came steadily but not fast we had a good day in the end and we all caught no blankers
the picture is of some of the keepers

Re: fishing the Mersey today
Nice result mate
Had heard the fishing had slowed in the Mersey due to all the thawed snow coming down the river....
Doesnt look that way from your catch though
