met up with graham and Edie about 8 am. weather wise was OK but the surf was breaking on the beach making launching difficult, Edie was the first off with his home made outriggers cool or what

me and graham had a good laugh at those outriggers .down to the fishing was bite a Chuck ,with doggy dabs whiting .Edie caught the only cod and Thornie .we all lost count of how many we caught .was a really enjoyable day out with great company. a few more pics of the day.

Great report Steve, I'm surprised you didn't batter the codling :fish: I like the look of them of them outriggers, very Heath Robinson but it should make the kayak super stable, which would be a bonus in winter :clap:
