got to cleveleys at lw 1030 kitted up and walked out to launch used a sliding ledger and a two up boom rig with black lug and straight from the start was getting bites found a nice gulley with a few rocks in dropped from 15ft to 22ft within a short distance pulled in some nice fat dabs and a 32cm codling before id even got the camera out then hit into something big

a nice starry smoothhound
then a few more dabs and whiting then a another good bite

a nice fat 38cm plaice
decided to start putting just half a worm on as bites were thick and fast and then pulled another smoothie out a common this time

then all afternoon it was doggies dabs an crabs and whiting lol
until another clonker of a bite

had another good bite but hook wasnt set lost it winding in but another great day

what a day mate well done fella nice fish there bud :thumb: :thumb:
2014, species, codling, whiting, dab, blenny, flounder, bass 41cm, thornback ray on lrf tackle in morecambe bay off the shore. smoothound in heysham. plaice 2lb 1oz nasty weaver.

Hell a Great White..!!! That sounds like a great session there matey, lots of different species for you at a bite a chuck..?? Love it when it all comes together ..!! Well done! Great report.

nice fishing looks like the hounds are about Haven't caught many of them where is five bar gate? is their plenty round their? advice is always welcome?

head thru cleveleys until u reach the seafront turn right along the front and follow it along past the ice rink and pub keep going past the venue until you come to a sharp right hand bend and the is a road just branching of left turn there and you will come to a dead end thats 5 bar gate hope this helps
