Gynn, Going Portuguese.<°(((()><

Postby shacky » 28 Apr 2024, 11:06

Down the Gynn with Paul for a Saturday afternoon fish. The sea was like a millpond, with East'ish winds and some sunshine. I fished with the usual Flapper Rigs, and a trial Portuguese Rig. Swimmers, Squid and Mackerel complimented the hooks. The flappers were whacked out and Portuguese down the inside gulley.
It was very hard going. Each rod produced a fish, with the Portuguese Rig getting most bites, I was using really small hooks and need to fettle the Rig a little..
