Saturday night 4th May. Arranged to meet up with Paul. But, when I got down there, he was crowded in. I decided to fish a different section. My main rig would be, to bait with crab on a running ledger. Flapper rigs were used with black, rag, and squid. I had to wait until dark to get bites. Flounder, Whiting and Starry/Common Smoothound were the Night Owls. Lots of Smoothound bites gave me a catch rate of 1 in 3.
