Heysham highs and lows - but where are the bass?

Postby StevieA » 10 Jun 2024, 11:32

Not posted here for a few years (hospital etc but all good now), and just getting back into fishing. Been fishing my usual spots at Heysham low-water and Throbshaw rocks high-water, and doing fine with the usual suspects - smooth-hounds, rays, plaice etc - but not a single bass. Is it just me?

(On a side note, I don't want to spam the fishing reports forum, but please check out the "items for sale/wanted" section if you live near Heysham. I'm having a clear out and some stuff is going cheap, and some for free.)

Ah, here they are. You wait 9 months for a bass then three come along at once.
