How to make....... LOOP RIG
Loop rig are one of my most used rigs with over 50 made up and ready to go.
So I'm going to show how I make them......hope this will help people to catch more fish...
Plus some TIPS.. Will be at the end...
First of all get your rig body and tie a link on ,or a imp ( I use break impacts so I use Gemini link clip)but u mite use plain leads without the bait clip so I would use a imp.
Now thread crimp, bead, swivel, bead, crimp, crimp, gimini spring, bead, swivel, bead, crimp.
Now that's done tie link or swivel to top of rig body.
Get some 30 to 40 lb line and tie to the bottom swivel its up to you how long u want it.
To the end of the 30-40lb line tie a cascade swivel to end like so
Now get the cascade and tie so 15-20lb hook length on
Now tie some hook length from top swivel make sure it's the same length as bottom snood
Now get bottom snood with cascade swivel and place a sequin on hook length and tie hook on
Repeat on top snood but use a bait stop to stop bait going up snood.
Now pin your rig up and start crimping.first hook bottom hook on bait clip and hook top hook on cascade I always start from top and work down so with it all crimped up it should look like this
TIP use thicker line for bottom snoods with cascade this will stop it from tangle and messing up.some lads use shock leader.
Try and make the hook length from cascade to hook same length as your bait E,G if I was using sandeel 3inch long that's how long my hook length and hook would be and always use a sequin.. this will stop bait going over cascade and and stopping it from unclipping..
Make sure bottom crimps are under top hook like in pic above if its not its just going to tangle
Make both hook length are same length..

Make a difference - take home one piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing

Well lads and lasses, Take note of this rig as Hutch is one of our great local match anglers and if this helps him catch more fish, It can only benefit us
