Well what can I say... I've been telling people all week how the conditions for the weekend are perfect for getting out on the boat and WOW was I right. I've posted an album from today and will add some more detail when I get chance - I'm shattered and I've had too much sun today.lol.

We fished rough ground and wreck both on the drift and at anchor. Baitfish was very thin on the ground. But the bait we had was put to very good use. More than half a dozen good ling with 3 into doubles. Maybe 8-10 congers most around 10-15lb with one around the 20-25 mark. The fishing was good but the wildlife was what made the day so special. Several playful pods of dolphins and a brilliant encounter with a basking shark. Oh and this strange hot thing in the sky. Someone said it was the sun?? I'm unsure having not seen the sun in a while. ;)
