Kayaking off Morecambe
I was just wondering why you don't see many people kayak fishing in Half Moon bay. Is the tide too strong?

I've fished it abit over the last couple years had some belting fish from small tide to big it does run fast on the bigger tides I've fished a 9.2 had to use my bigger anchor fishing there in the summer for the smooth hounds and ray loads of plaice then later on in the year you'll be dogged out over all a great kayak place to fish some of the fish I've had of there

I live in Heysham and have been toying with the idea of getting a kayak for a couple of years now. I'd like to be able to nip out for a couple of hours after work in the summer. I'm glad to hear it's doable and you have had some good fish.
