Knott end

Postby tarmacduck » 20 Sep 2015, 18:18

Launched my boat at knott end slipway yesterday lunchtime, first time for more than twelve months, great start it floated. Flew up the river and onto Heysham 2 tried for a bass for half an hour. The two other boats there gave up and headed in. With a freshening breeze I decided to follow, I fished closer in hoping for a few flatties. Ended up with eight nice plaice to take home and several returned. I thought the best was easily over two pounds but on the wife's kitchen scales it didn't quiet make it. ( Think the scales ar us ) still really enjoyed a great afternoon slightly tinged by the normal jet ski type who tend to take over the slipway on my return. Sorry no pics.
