Lancaster Canal 16th & 20th August 2021

Monday 16th August and off down to Forton on the canal...fingers crossed there would be a weed free patch for me to fish in.....a small area of the wides was clear so set up and caught a few better quality fish at just 3 metres out in about 3 1/2 foot of water on single maggot fished on a 18`s hook

Friday 20th August back down to Forton but alas the wide area was coated solid with weed ...so picked a peg nearer the bridge and was pleasantly surprised to find a few fish although them be a bit smaller than Mondays stamp of fish an enjoyable afternoon was had

Busy sessions well done was working down station lane broughton area there is nice canal stretch there by the bridge.
