Lancaster Canal 18th April 2022
Only one way to beat the traffic on a bank holiday monday...thats stay local
So off into lancaster city centre and down aldciffe rd.
Well the roads were as busy as the boat traffic...but i knew the fish tuck up in the margins under the trees on the far bank..so its was pole all the way across...feeding a few maggots ,it was not long before the first fish was in the net.

Well done getting them out. As heavy boat traffic never helps. Excellent
