Lancaster Canal 20th & 24th September 2021

Well normal service is resumed...back to the canal...
Monday 20th and back on the canal down at Forton...sort of weed free ..a weed scooper boat going up and down ...doing a good job as my peg was weed free..4m of pole 3ft of water single maggot on a 20`s as usual drip feeding a few maggots into my swim...within 15 minutes the fish arrived and a steady afternoon was had.

Friday 24th
With the weather looking a bit risky a last minute decision....oh well its friday and i have a big brolly...but to my surprise Forton must have its own micro climate....not a drop of rain...and the weed clearer had done its job....looking good again.
Same tactics as monday and the silvers were coming at a steady rate.
