Lancaster Canal 29th July & Villa Fishery 2nd August 2024

With the water levels still low in Lancaster ..decided on a trip down to Ratcliffe Wharfe and fish the basin...it was still a struggle, but found a few fish.

So with a few disappointing days on the canal....Friday and a change of venue...off to The Villa Fishery at Carnforth...fishing pole at 8m in 5ft of water...double caster or double maggot on a 16`s hook ...non stop action from the word go...a great day out well worth the £7 day ticket.
