After a visit to the canal on Friday ....unable to fish with the weed being solid all along the stretch..Hoping the weekend boat traffic had broken the weed up..i set off..and to my surprise the boats had done a good job of dispersing the weed...my peg was weed free and full of fish..a good 4 hour session on the pole only 4 section out...single maggot (any colour) on a 20`s hook did the trick ...then the dreaded weed closed in on my peg so off home for tea.
