Well finally got to go fishing for the first time this year...off to my usual spot for a mid afternoon session..the water was full of debris..but after about 30 mins of nothing, but me drip feeding a few maggots...the bites started and a few decent fish came to the net....single red maggot on a 20`s

Good catch of fish, used to fish the canal in the early 70s always tough venue to fish, very little would be caught on maggot you had to have blood worm.
