Well it wouldn't be Friday without my weekly report on how things are going on the canal..Knowing Forton stretch is still covered in weed ...it was off to Aldcliffe Lancaster....Fishing across the far side ...single white maggot on a twenty...a few fish and a snooty big eel came to the net....blazing sun 24 degrees and the fish still wanted to play
