Lancaster Canal July 9th 2021

Being Friday it my time out and a weekly trip to the canal....traveled down to Forton but yet again the canal is totally unfishable....the dreaded green weed is everywhere....so hoping the peg in Lancaster was weed free...popped back in the car and headed North...weed free i set up fishing in about 18 inches of very coloured water over on the far bank...not long before the fish appeared mainly the stripeys with one or two roach...a pleasant afternoon was had.
