Loch Etive - small boats

Bait: everything oot my freezer
Fish caught: whiting , cod , spurdog , thornie , poor cod , LSD
2 boats booked , arrived at a clam but chilly etive , loaded gear and head to 1st mark , setting up and having breakie .
Neil was into a whiting followed by cod , no great size but off and running , this was followed by me with 2 whiting , brian caught a spur .

Things went dead so we headed to 2nd mark , instant knocking , neil had a thornie , followed by a lsd , myself a poor cod , brian had around 3 small spurs , myself kinda nothing then a spur followed by a thornie , Brian had a whiting a good size .

We headed to 3rd mark but caught on ropes of bouy , same as the 4th bouy so headed back to our 3rd mark .
Into thornies , spurs straight away , even me pulling into a double hitter of both .
Neil spur eluded him until his rod went , a spur on side of boat crimp part , but that spur was not getting away neil right over hands in water pulls it out .

Luvved the post mate, reminded me of our stay at the Farm house next to Loch Etive 2 years ago, only got to catch a few doggies from the shore line but really enjoyed the scenery and fishing.

well done on getting a few between you.
