Looking for a Yak
Thought Id post this here as well as in the wanteds
I'm looking for a Kayak, obviously fishing spec. Having trawled the net and looked at a couple of kayaks in person I've kinda settled on a couple of choices, the Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game,Trident (and Ultra) angler models.
Ocean Kayak seems to be as good as any manufacturer,I had a look at the Feel Free Moken 12.5 too, plus Jackson Cuda but the Jacksons are impossible to get 2nd hand and over a grand new. The Moken is exceptionally well specced and similar dimensions to the Big Game so very stable - if a bit draggy in the water too but I'm not planning on touring.
So I thought Id start by asking on the off chance if anyone knows of or even HAS one for sale. Worth a shot to start as I didn't fancy pitching £600 on an eBay setup, god though it may be,and buying blind with a 200 mile round trip to collect something I'm not well up on!!
Any advice is most welcome,I've started picking up other necessities and theyre obviously going to be by far the bulk of the cost but the kayak is wjats between me and the water so if anyone's got any suggestions before I drop £700 on a new one theyre very welcome
Cheers guys
